Faith
Grounded in belief, guided by our principles, and committed to living them beyond the lodge room.
SKITTLES & GILLIGAN · TWO BURNING TAPERS
Two brothers. Two microphones. A shared love of Freemasonry, the Widows Sons, and the people who make the journey worth taking.
Everyone is welcome to listen. Brotherhood starts with a conversation.

WIDOWS SONS · FAITH, HOPE & CHARITY
The Widows Sons is a Masonic riding association. We are Freemasons who share a love of riding and a commitment to faith, hope, and charity. Motorcycles bring us together; the bonds of Freemasonry give that fellowship its purpose.
Our Blue Lodges are the foundation of our Masonic lives. Being a Widows Son means carrying that commitment with us: supporting our lodges, staying involved, welcoming brothers, and helping Freemasonry grow. The ride strengthens the bonds we bring back to lodge.
Grounded in belief, guided by our principles, and committed to living them beyond the lodge room.
Encouraging one another, building lasting friendships, and helping the next brother find his place.
Putting compassion into action through generosity, service, and care for those who need a helping hand.
We bring brothers together across lodges and chapters, turn introductions into friendships, and create more reasons to show up for one another. Whether we are riding, gathering, supporting a charitable cause, or attending lodge, the goal is the same: stronger brothers, stronger lodges, and a stronger community.
THE PURPOSE BEHIND THE PATCH
The best part of brotherhood is what we do with it.
The Widows Sons brings brothers together beyond a meeting night. Those friendships encourage us to return to lodge, support its work, and welcome the next generation of Freemasons. Blue Lodge is our foundation, and its growth is part of our purpose.
Charity rides, community gatherings, and a helping hand put our values into practice. Supporting widows, orphans, families, and local causes gives our time together a purpose that reaches beyond ourselves.
Two Burning Tapers gives this brotherhood a voice. By sharing the people, service, and friendships behind the patch, we help listeners discover the Widows Sons and take the next step toward a lodge, a chapter, or a conversation.

Behind the microphones

GILLIGAN / CO-HOST
Family. Fellowship. A sense of humor.
Past Master · Shriner · Husband & father · Softball coach
Gilligan brings warmth, humor, and a wholehearted passion for Freemasonry to Two Burning Tapers. As co-host alongside his brother Skittles, he helps make every conversation feel like time spent with good friends—welcoming, thoughtful, and never too far from a laugh.
A Master Mason for 17 years and a Widows Son for 13 years, Gilligan is also a Past Master of his lodge and a Shriner. He remains deeply involved in lodge life. His commitment to the Craft extends beyond the microphone, reflecting the importance he places on fellowship, service, and being an active part of his Masonic community.
At the heart of his life are his wife and their three beautiful daughters. A devoted husband and proud dad, he also coaches his girls’ softball team, sharing his time and enthusiasm both at home and on the field. Family is central to who he is and to the energy he brings to everything he does.
Fun-loving, quick to laugh, and passionate about the people he cares for, Gilligan brings a personal touch to the show. Whether the conversation turns to lodge life, family, or brotherhood, he reminds us that the strongest connections begin with showing up for one another.

SKITTLES / CO-HOST
Faith. Family. Brotherhood.
Husband & father · Freemason since 2016 · Widows Son since 2017
For Skittles, life’s greatest blessings begin at home. A devoted husband and proud father, he treasures his wife and daughter and the everyday moments they share—from family adventures to the kind of laughter that turns an ordinary evening into a favorite memory.
With Jesus in his heart, Skittles places his Christian faith at the center of his life. Love, gratitude, and care for others are values he strives to carry into his family, his friendships, and the conversations he shares on Two Burning Tapers.
A Freemason since 2016 and a Widows Son since 2017, he has found lasting meaning in the bonds of brotherhood. Alongside Gilligan, he brings that passion to the podcast, sharing stories and opening the door for others to discover the people and friendships behind the Craft.
He also brings a healthy sense of humor—and, as he would happily point out, exceptionally handsome looks. But behind the laughs is a man who loves his family, holds his faith close, and believes that time spent together is what makes brotherhood real.
